Is it common for the 55 psi stock fpr to leak? 2 of the 3 I've used from junkyard engines have leaked. Just wondering if this is a really common thing. They both have leaked right under the top hat. Not a significant amount of fuel but enough that you can smell it in the engine bay.

I don't think it's normal, but a mechanic friend of mine had described something similar he found on a 3400 recently, where the FPR would look like it was "sweating" fuel. It was actually seeping out around the crimp connection that holds the two halves together. -
