  • EGR tube replacement

Does anyone have any tips on replacing the EGR tube on a 95-99 3100?

Is it just 2 bolts at the valve and 1 at the manifold? Is there any more to it than that?

    just block the F**ker off.
Other wise, you will need to get the old tube out of the manifold, i would suggest getting the car warm or hot and going at it with a nice tight fitting wrench, give the out side of the fitting a few smackes to loosen up the threads if you have trouble, but if you have a torch with oxygen just heat up the manifold with that, work it free back and forth if you get it loose and keep it hot so it doesnt get stuck threading it out.

    Its runs!!!>>>Aint No 60* Sound Like Mehttp://youtu.be/YKEmNwa141U

The tube on it now has rot, I have a new one on the way. Should be here Monday.

I will definitely get the car somewhat warm before I try this. Don't want to deal with a snapped bolt in the manifold

Just got it from the dealer. Holy fuck, no wonder these things rot - I assumed it was an actual solid metal pipe, not that flexy bendy crap.
