  • replacement for 3.4l 1994 camaro

I am having a problem finding a 3.4l engine for my 94 camaro. Is there an alternative engine I can replace in it so I can get it certified to be able to drive on roads? Any help will be greatly appreciated. or should I just rebuild this one?
    Thanks Don.

a 2.8 or 3.1 from an older rwd vehicle(f-body, or s10) will work, you will have to swap your intake manifolds and some other minor things over, basically use the 2.8/3.1 longblock, and get everything else off your current engine.

It might be worth your while to pay a visit to www.camaroz28.com (Yes...they DO cater to those F-Body aficionados using the V6 Engines) and post the following:

      (1) Your location on the planet for proximity to any "drive over and pick this up" engines and the fact that you require a "1993-1995 GM L-32 3.4L 207 C.I.D. V6 Engine"

      Also...

      (2) Your Local Craigslist... You would be surprised what you find there for F-Body folks,
      (3) Any of the local junk yards nearby that will allow you the chance to do a "walkabout" on their premises.
