I have a 1987 Chevy Celebrity.
There is a hose running from the air intake (engine side of MAF) to the valve cover.
It broke at the gasket. Because of it's positioning on the valve cover, I immediately thought it was a PCV valve. This is not the case. There is no valve and it goes over to the air intake instead of vacuum.
I've attached a picture of what I am talking about. (It's generic from Wikipedia and I marked the part)
I need to know what the part is so that I can get a replacement. I tried replacing it with some hose from a auto parts store but that only worked until the car got hot and the flexible hose started letting air in again. It wasn't a good seal as they didn't have the correct fittings.
