A few years back I bought a Olds Ciera with 5000 original miles on it. It has been running great up until a few weeks ago. It now has 58000 on it and Ive done wires, plugs, fuel filter, IAC and all the regular stuff. When it first started stalling it was always at idle. When I changed the IAC it ran good for a week, now the rough idle is back along with a intermittent severe loss of power. Weird thing is if I pull over and shut the car off and turn it back on it always fires right back up with no symptoms. Tested the FPR and it had vacuum and there was no fuel in the line. Doesnt sound like a crank sensor problem. If it was the fuel pump, I doubt it would start right back up and run fine. Im stumped. Bad ground somewhere? ECM?
