I bought a GA with 3400 in it a few months ago with blown head gaskets, i did a 3500 top swap and now im having driveability problems. I have good compression and the timing is in the correct order, but i think it might be in the fuel system. I can rev the car up to about 3500-4k rpm and that is as high as it goes. The intake sounds really loud when this happens. So, should I ohm the injectors? noid the connectors? anyone else run into this problem by chance? any help is appreciated

temporarily open your exhaust. Either drop the front pipe off the manifold or cut a slit in it with a saws all if you have a mig welder to weld the cut afterwards. Then start it a see if she'll rev past.
Oh before that, not to call you on this but, it's not the rev limiter is it? :P
I suspect a clogged exhaust.
Unless you have an exhaust pressure gauge, they usually screw in where an 02 sensor goes, should be 2-5 lbs.sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:

Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.

oh, IF it is a clogged converter, something clogged it. After the converter repair check for bad coolant temp sensor, thermostat stuck open, bad MAP/MAF, etc and change your plugs, again, they maybe fouled.
