This is for my 3.1 Aluminum head into a Fiero. I find that the flywheel (nutral balanced) that fits a 2.8/3.1 also is used on about 200 other small GM vehicles also on 2.2's and 2.5's. They all seem to use the 9 1/8 inch disk with different splines to match the transmissions they are installed with. I seem to find about 3 or 4 different pressure plates, this is where I have some questions. Some cross to some other uses, but not all cross to the number of uses that the flywheels do. It would seem that some will fit because they both cross to one model but not to each other. Some Fiero pressure plates cross to some S-10's and some S-10's cross to some 2.2's and some 2.5's. Anyone know what the differences are in thme that makes them not fit one or all? Are any of them better at holding torque than the others? The set I have now is from a 2003 S-10 with a 2.2, I know the disk will not fit due to the spline count. Larry
