  • oil on plugs

this is the first time i checked out my sparkplugs since i put the engine back together. they have a bit of oil on the threads but not really around the electrodes. is this normal?

at first it smoked like hell because of the oil in the cylinders from assembly. but the smoking has since stopped completely and it's running fine. so im assuming the oil is from the initial few start up and since its on the threads it had no way of burning up.

just my thoughts. let me know what you think.

Sounds fine to me. Wipe the threads down if you want and put a tiny dab of antiseize on them and reinstall.
