i have no idea why i just realized this now but i have my 3400 up and running in the car and its running great.

but it's bored .30 over and i used stock headgaskets. when i put it together it didnt look like it overlapped the cylinder at all but im just wondering if this is a problem.

Stock GM headgaskets are plenty big for a .030" overbore. I use GM gaskets on my motor which is .040" over.
