Are you saying to use the LX9 KS?
I don't see any way its possible to use with the OBD I ecm.
I think the location of the KS a little lower in the block is ok, I mean its a big chunk of iron so the 'knocks' will travel through it to be registered by the sensor. The thing I need to do ASAP is check that the threads aren't corroded and causing a poor or no ground situation. Even so, this can't be the cause of my engine running so bad. I for sure think I have a bad ICM, coil(s), or wires. Ever cross 2 spark plug wires? Thats how my motor runs.
