That's a good idea using a tube to listen within the cylinder for a leak. I want to thank you people for your candid responses, I feel very encourage, much more so than over the week-end. Yet I confess, I have resolved to fix the solution by rebuilding my whole top end. My cam makes a bit of noise (when cold out) and my carburetor is a piece of junk. I'm going big on this one. I've purchased the bolts, headgasket kit and blue silicone, my line of sight has been drawn and I'm going to town!!!

Now if my band-aid holds out long enough, I can make some more money to buy the rest of the components and yeah, I'll go from 110 hp to 150 hp!!! I'll *actually be able to accelerate at the same speed as the plastic traffic.

That made me lol. Good deal. There has and always will be a good group of people here to help and support others, as long as it's not an L36/L67 swap. Because, like Ben's post about 3800 topic says, "Modifying a 60v6 doesn't involve swapping in a 90v6." I've always been glad to be able to help people on this board because I've gotten help along the way. It wouldn't be right for me to hoard my knowledge after that.
