3100 lg8 lifter question Help PLLLEEASSSEE

i swapped my l82 for an lg8 and had a top end knock... at this point without thinking i pulled the intake valve covers and pushrods to access the lifters... now i am second guessing myself as to which way the lifters came out as far as which direction the oil port faces... does it matter which direction the oil port faces upon re-install?!?!? I can't seem to find specifications anywhere that say so... and as usual Alldata and Mitchell are no help....

It doesn't matter. Oil will make it into the lifter due to the port being drilled into a smaller diameter section.
