I have a 92 Lumina 3.1. It's a POS, and it's a long story, so it's going to be a long post. Right now, it has a problem that I just can't figure out. The car will fire up just fine, but then it will IMMEDIATELY die out, unless you rapidly pump the gas pedal. If you just floor it, the car will rev, and then hit the limiter, and then it will die out. I just took apart the whole damn top end and replaced the fuel pressure regulator, thinking that was the problem. Well, it wasn't. After a while of pumping, the car will warm up and idle- VERY roughly. While it's running, if you pull the vaccuum hose off of the fuel pressure regulator, the car will rev more normally and the idle will be normal. But, obviously, this is not normal. So, I'm in DESPERATE need of help, and I hope someone can help me dammit.
Thanks very much
