Howdy. My '94 Corsica has sprung a leak. It's leaking where that heater hose pipe goes into the timing cover (I think) right above the water pump. I had that piece out a few years ago when I replaced the intake gaskets, and I remember that it's sealed by a thin o-ring. I'm sure I could take the thing out, run all over town and maybe match one up... but I'd prefer to have a new one on hand so I can just get the job done.
Anybody have a part number for that o-ring, or know where I can look one up? No luck on rock auto, or the autozone or advance websites.
Also, it appears that I have another leak where that metal bypass tube goes into the lower intake. I can see that I'll have to remove the upper intake and fuel rail to get to this pipe. Does anybody know how this pipe seals into the upper intake? Is there an o-ring? Or does it just press in?
And finally... if I'm going to have the upper intake and fuel rail off, then I think I'd might as well re-torque the lower intake bolts just as preventative maintenance... it's been a couple years since I installed those new and improved FelPro gaskets. I don't remember what Felpro's recommended torque was for those bolts, and I've long since thrown the remains of that gasket set away. Anybody remember the bolt torques?
Thanks.
