Ok if you say it is coming from the inspecton cover over the flywheel/flexplate then it probabally is the rear main seal. This is common. Ther is one good at home test for the PCV valve. Pop it out of the grommet in the valve cover and shake it. If it rattles then it is good. Along with the PCV valve there must be a breather on the other valve cover. It must also be free. But if you say there is never any blue smoke then I doubt that PCV is acting up. Unless it is sucking in a small constant amount that is burning up really clean.1993 EXT. I was starting to think it might be the oil pan gasket going bad . Im gonna start with the pcv valve and work my way up . I heard that the rear main seal is a pita !! But then again the oil pan gasket doesnt seem like its gonna be a cakewalk eitherI know you heard the noise/Preachers touching on altar boys/Sodomizing, not realising/God is watching, beforethe Lord!
