  • 90 lumina 3.1 electrical problems

My '90 lumina has no power to anything right now. Roll the key forward and nothing comes on. I've traced wires and check voltage, and I'm good all the way through the fusible links on the other side of the starter. I've check all the fuses, and they look fine.

I'm stumped. Where should I check next?

Solved, junk cable. Never seen anything like that before. I had voltage to the other side of the starter, but the minute you turned ANYTHING on it dropped to less than 1 volt. Changed the cable, all is good.

sounds like there was internal breakage in the wire, and whenever any kind of significant current passed through, the voltage dropped...

Yep, that's exactly what it was/is.
