  • New plugs and wires and now bad idle!

Ok, so I did plugs and wires on my friends '93 Cutty 3.1. We put in rapidfires and bosch wires . To make sure I had the right wires I measured the lengths of the new ones against the old ones. Ne ways now it idles at like 500-600, in park its ok, but in gear it idles at like 400 and its rough alot, enough to make the dash shake, it doesn't missfire just has a rough idle. We also put on new FFP dogbones so idk if that has ne thing to do with it.

    Thanx in advance

Fuck Bosch. They never ever work on Chevy's. I dont think Bosch knows how to make products for waste spark ignition. They work on my air cooled VW but not on any Chevy's I have ever worked on. Run Delco wires or an MSD product. It should help. For kicks just try the old used wires.
