Brief low down, installed a 97 Lumina pcm into a 96 grand prix. Checked all the wires and they are a match. The car has a newly installed turbo and needs tuned yet. It was sitting in a garage for about 2 months.
It runs fine, start up is a little rough now but not a big issue. It idles fine but I still need to do an idle relearn. I think the hard start is due to a bad battery. I can hear the water sloshing around in the battery which isn't good. I still have warranty so that is ok for now.
I am getting the error codes p1655 EVAP purge solenoid control circuit and p1671 Driver 4 line 1.
I was wondering if these error codes have anything to do with the pcm swap. I have no fuel leaks that I can tell of.
What should I do to help resolve these error codes?
As I haven't much experience in the EVAP system. And the Driver 4 Line 1 seems to be a pcm error or wire to the pcm, but I double checked all the wires and the wire colors match up perfectly.
Any advise is welcomed, thanks.
