Two problems working together is never fun. At least you have one taken care of and can get this other one knocked out in no time

I changed out the ICM and still am having hard starts and the car is still running extremely rich. I am not sure about the mpg''s but I would guess around 12-13 mpg, so it is running very rich. The car is also only doing this when it is at operating tempurature.

Somewhat of an update, I replaced the spark plugs again, and spark plug wires.....again and cylinder 6 coil. Also I changed the O2 sensor. Still not much of a change. The car is not firing properly on cylinder 6. The compression is fine on this cylinder, there is spark, we put a node light on the injector and it is firing, but there is a misfire between 1500-2000 rpms. The cylinder is also loading up with fuel. Anybody have any ideas? Could the ECM be bad? The wires going to the injector is fine. I dont know what else it could be.

Injector could possibly be stuck open if the cylinder is filling up with fuel.

I was thinking that too but we put a noid light on the injector and it seems to be fine....Plus I bought all 6 of them as newly remanufactured and they came with a flow spec sheet and what not. I will give the guy that I bought them from a call. He may be able to clear some things up. I am really stumped on this one, so stumped that for the first time in my life I might take a vehicle to a mechanic

              Maybe your ICM is bad?

If you are able to read the codes, which it appears you are, swap the coils around and see if the misfire follows. That will tell you if its a bad coil or not.

Funny thing is, is that I did change out the ICM and the coil on cylinder 6, no change really.

I did some more work this weekend on the car and discovered that the injector on cylinder 6, even being brand new, was no good. I pulled the injector out and was able to blow right through it without a problem, so at 40 psi of fuel pressure it would be pretty leaky. It fixed the problem and the car runs great again. Thanks for the help guys!

Woohoo for me! You can never guarantee a part is good, even if its brand new.

Hey 3 things come to mind for me.
                        1) Pull the spark plugs, are they fouled ? or does they look like the engine is running lean ?
                        2) Idle relearn after any of the many things that you tried to correct your problem?
                        3) Any codes past or present ?
