  • Rough Idols with my 3100

I just changed my plugs. And now the car is idoling like shit. The car drives fine but when it's in gear and i'm at a stop the car idols rough and vibrates pretty badly. The Car is a 2000 Chevy Malibu with the 3100. It has about 60 000km on it. Anybody have any solutions or ideas?

    any help is appreciated,
    VR.

Might also be a coil going bad, or even wires switched.

this may sound silly, but I had a similar problem when I changed my plugs. I ended up crossthreading one of the rear spark plugs. Might wanna check that out, I know that it's a tight fit in the back row

i'll definately check that out, now i'm starting to smell fuel when i come to a stop, or when the car is in gear, i'm thinking i'm not getting complete detonation so it could very well be a plug or wires. How often are you supposed to change the wires anyway?
            thanks for the help
