  • High Quality Egine Images

More often than not... when topics arise about "...what part/sensor is located where?", it is sometimes hard to visualize the information relating to the various and very specific engine blocks involved and get some better understanding of the actual appearances of our various engine block applications. This is particularly true when showing our own engines which may be cluttered with all the parts and pieces and/or be in, shall we say...a less than "sanitary" state for viewing. The below listed link will take you to an online site that sells Used, Re-Conditioned and Re-Manufactured Engines on a very large scale and more importantly to the discussion... They take the time to record images of all four sides of these particular engines that are for sale...

    ... in Very High Quality.

The real value to us in this understanding is that we have an opportunity to research this site and either capture, save or download engine images unique to either our needs or understanding and save these for later reference should the need arise to either describe things for ourselves or others when rendering aid to our membership. I was completely surprised that the company took so much to heart when it comes to showing the details of all these motors. I hope it proves useful to our folks here. You do NOT need a login or membership with this site to benefit from their views of the motors of interest to you. Please use the "Gas Engine" selection from their menu on the left side of their Home Page to get started... Enjoy!

Engine problems shouldn’t mean buying another new or used vehicle. Using the latest technology, Gearhead engines are unmatched in their quality and reliability. With 30+ years of engineering experience and a trusted machining process, our technicians bring these engines up to and often beyond current factory specifications using parts that meet or go beyond O.E. specifications.

The Example Images are four that I grabbed from the site depicting a 93-95 Z34 3.4l Engine...

cool. just looked up the 95MC. apparently, there is a 'tinware' version with a 3100??? but the normal LS and Z34 options shown up as well, so i'm cool with that.
1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!
    Latest nAst1 files here!
Need a wiring diagram for any GM car or truck from 82-06(and 07-08 cars)? PM me!

Egine? Did I make a TYPO somewhere...?

Oh... no...John... PLEASE Don't tempt me... any response to THAT question if asked in earnest would have to read something like...

"In the Beginning... There was the Caveman ..."OOOGLUU"... sitting on a slab of Cold Rock...."

                  Translation: OOGLUU = "Fred Flinstone"

As long as he turned that rock into the first wheel, history of the car was inevitable ROFL.

Here is what the car would look like...but in this image...the "Engine" has been removed!

...and in this case I am like Fred in the respect that both the Engine and the Driver have "Iron Heads"
