Just replaced intake plenum gaskets and put everything back together. Start up the car and it knocks bad. Noticed bad spark plug wire and was wondering if it could be something else besides a bad wire. If it runs for a minute it will stall out as well. Im guessing a bad wire but need someone elses input

If you found one Bad Spark Plug Wire... the rest are suspect as well. If you did not replace the plugs when the engine was torn down... you might as well do the plugs while digging around to replace the wires... and check their Firing Order Match-Up between which wire is on which plug...one at a time ...from the ICM all the way to each and every plug. While doing this...see of any of the other wires made contact with the exhaust manifold, melted through and shorted out. Your description of the problem being a "Knock" versus the engine shuddering or misfiring is disturbing and inconsistent with just having Bad Plugs and/or Bad Wires... can you be more precise in your description?...or perhaps...shoot a brief audio/video of the engine running (at least 15-30 seconds worth) and post it for FREE on www.photobucket.com and provide a link for it?
