Okay so I am working on a 90 Pontiac 6000 se 3.1 It was barely running at idle to move the car you had to hold the brake and get the rpm's up. it was diagnosed by someone else that the injectors were bad. so I get the car to install injectors, plug wires, plugs, change the oil, and air filter. when I pulled the fresh air intake tube it was full of fuel, between the air can and throttle body. I changed the injectors, and so on. fire it up and still running really rough. there are 127 k on ht e car what are the chances it is the coil pack or ignition module or whatever it's called behind the coils. and how do I rule it out. what would the specific symptoms be. I also cleaned the mat sensor and the IAC has recently been changed. basically it runs ok at high rpm but won't hardly run by itself at an idle any opinions appreciated.

so how do I check it to make sure, pressure gauge? or ? I'm more of a carburetor kind of guy just cutting my teeth on fuel injection. would that cause the kind of symptoms I'm seeing, also could it be the pump it's making noise that isn't normal after the key is off and out of the ignition. which I suspected should not even happen at all. it is almost like even after the car is off it's trying to keep the system pressurized

Could be a stuck fuel pump relay.-Brad-
