3 years ago I replaced the intake gaskets. Now I have oil in my coolant again, but not the milkshake mess I had before. I do see an external leak on my head weeping or seeping at idle...cant tell if its oils or coolant....looks more like oil.
It also appears that the intake gasket is leaking externally a little, assuming some weeping is normal.
Also I am tripping an P0128 code indicating my coolant temp doesnt reach operating temp. I replaced the thermostat 3 yrs ago (60,000 miles ago)
the car is a 2001 GP SE with 165,000 miles.
It runs great and has never overheated. My oil is clean with no coolant.
But there is some oil is in my coolant.
The upper radiator hose is pressurized to the point where its pretty firm when I squeeze it, is that normal? I open the radiator cap and don't see any bubbles
I'm looking for adv ice, not sure how critcal it is fixing it right away or should I wait. Drivability wise everything is normal. Even with the thermostat possibly stuck open I still have 175 degree air for my heater...is that weird?
