I need to change the head gasket in my 1995 camaro 3.4 never changed one in my life. Anytone done this on the same car? if so is it complicated? And should i be doing it myself or is it worth paying a shop?

It's funny that the very last word in "Proper Torque Procedures" for the Up-To-Date "Stealership" Mechanic as recommended in the PDfs on this fix...always involves using a tool that looks something like this...

Let us know if you need some screen prints (or even better...another excellent "How-To" PDF from Robert ) on how to adjust your valve train back to specs after the R&R job on your heads. Keep the car elevated at a level you feel comfortable with since the damned engine is practically in a "mid-engine" setting in the engine compartment... and reaching back under to lift out the old heads and gently drop in the new there when the car is flat on the ground can be a ball-buster in the 4th Gen F-Bodies...
