  • 87 S10 2.8 Emmission help

I have an 87 2.8 4x4 with an automatic. Just got it running. Still not running just right. I noticed that the heat stove is about gone. Do I relly the whole thermac system?

Right now I have the TPS, EGR, and Map sensor conneceted. With no codes being thrown.

Do I need the vacum line connected that goes to the canister? Anything else emmisson wise that I can get rid of?

The vaccum lines ALL need to be connected in the right places; I learned the hard way...

There should be a simple schematic over the radiator cover for the vac hoses.

Yea keep all the vac hoses. They are not going to cost you a single ounce of power. No you don't need the thermac system unless you live in a very cold and moist climate.
