  • Coolant Sensor Location

My Daughter's low coolant light is on at start up, then off. 2002 3.4 Impala with a LIM job 6 months ago. (They used Fel-Pro). I have a 2003 Buick 3.1 and would like to know where the sensor is located? Am going to drain the anti-freeze tomorrow and clean the Res bottle. Saw the Sensor on RockAuto for $45-$50. Saw a thread about dis-connecting to prevent the light from coming on. Also a thread about cleaning the tip(??) with an emery cloth.
Can't find it mentioned in my 2003 Impala Shop Manual.
    Thanks!

It should be on the passenger side of the radiator. At least that's where it is on my car, and my car is a W body just like your daughters Impala.
