  • Question : 3500 head and LIM Bolt Tightening Sequence

As the title states, I am looking for the bolt tightening sequence for a 2006 chevrolet malibu 3500 (non-vvt). I had a parts manager of a dealership look the heads up and he told me they didn't see anything and would just do:

    6 2 3 7
    5 1 4 8

Will that be ok for the head on this engine?

And what is the sequence for the LIM?

    Thanks,
    Dave

for the lim bolts here are the specs
The torque specification is a 2-step process; tighten the vertical lower intake manifold bolts (the four middle ones) to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
Tighten the diagonal lower intake manifold bolts (two on each end) to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
Tighten the vertical lower intake manifold bolts (the four middle ones) to 13 Nm (115 lb in). Tighten the diagonal lower intake manifold bolts (two on each end) to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
