what does it take to replace the fuel injectors on this engine. is it just unbolt the plenum and unplug and then replug. or is their more to it.. just did the injectors on my 99 astro different ejection set up and have never worked on multiport injection. thanks

It's not to bad, I just take the Upper intake off and the fuel rails are exposed, 4 bolts hold it down. Once they are out carefully pry the whole assembly out, you may want to take some compressed air to the injector holes before you take the assembly out to get any debris out from around the injectors. Then once it's out the injectors are held in by clips, they pop off and out come the injectors. -
hey thanks the lady had been told they were really hard to do and that the engine would have to be partially pulled to do the injectors and the spark plugs they were going to charge her $1500.00 to do it, I should have been a mechanic except I can't screw people over..thanks for the replyComment
