  • Help, 2.8l drinking oil!!

Hello all. I have a 1990 Isuzu Trooper with a GM 2.8L. The engine was running very poorly and a TON of smoke was pouring out of the exhaust, so much that the engine could not be run for more than a couple of seconds. I pulled all the plugs, they were just covered in engine oil. Removed the intake manifold and found the oil is being sucked in from the EGR port. I have never seen this before and I am wondering if anyone else has. The EGR ports on the intake manifold as well as the right cylinder head were coated in fresh engine oil as well. The guy I bought it from said the engine had a broken valve but i'm not sure at this point. I will remove the head to have a look but just wondering if anyone has had this issue. Thanks all in advance.

The EGR port is under slight pressure so I am not exactly sure how it would be sucking oil in. Got pic's?
