  • 2.8L s10 oil leak

i have an oil leak that is coming from the top of the engine and running down the passenger side of the tranny and dripping off of the rear of the tranny. it looked to be the distributor seal so i had it replaced. i changed the oil and everything seemed fine, no leak. a day later i took a 4 hour drive and when i got home let the truck sit for an hour and once again oil had leaked out. what do ya'll think it could be?

The distributor O-Ring is a very common leak point. But old valve cover gaskets and the intake manifold end seal can also leak.

it doesn't look like a valve cover leak, but the intake leak could be it. to fix that would i just need a intake manifold gasket?
