Question : I need some help now before it starts raining

I was changing my intake gasket on a 96 GP and we did not put the valve cover on the front bank down on before we put the intake back together. Now are there any tips or tricks to getting the steel cooler line going to the TB and heater core off so i can drop the valve cover down in. any help would be great thanks
