well my brother turned me onto this site after he switched from his 95 GAGT to a 91 240SX SE coupe. I love the site and all the help its provided for me. I have a 1991 firebird w/ the 60* 3.1 in it and im havn a bit of an issue with the fuel line. One of the lines (the one going into the filter from the tank) has a small pin hole in it.Doesnt leak really ridiculous and i took it to look at getting fixed and they were tryn to charge me $800 to replace the entire fuel line and the brake lines. I dont have that kind of money right now and im debating on selling or fixing it. Since its my only means of transportation for work i wanna keep. Is there any remedy for now i can do with it until i fix it properly?? guy at the parts store said plumbers tape would work??? another guy told me to apply multiple coats of rubberized undercoating spray on it. Like i said.....i dont have the $800 to fix it now but i dont wanna drive it and it catch on fire or even worse......please help me. Thanx alot guys

There are several ways to fix this and NONE involve rubber hose and worm clamps!
But you have to understand that if there is one little leak there are likely several more waiting to happen (Weakest link syndrome)
Best bet $$$-wise is to replace as much of the line you can get too with metal tubing and compression fittings. Available at any auto store.
Look for the sheilded/ spring wrapped lines that are bendable. Usually designed for brakes, as long as you get the right diameter.
As long as you understand it is a long term BUT still temporary fix.
Now I may get corrected on this, but that is a quicky safe fix.
