  • No Start 3.1L

I just replaced the heads and gasket on my 97MC 3.1L.Every thing went pretty smothe until I went to start the engine,it just crank, crank, and crank.I checked to see if I had spark from the wires and I have spark. When I turn the key to the on position I can here the fuel pump come on for about 3sec.I no im getting fuel.

The one thing i did notice is that check engine light wont flash with the key on.I checked the fuse for the PCM with a test light and the 15amp fuse is ok. Does this mean my PCM is no good.
    just need head gasket info

Injector harness plugged in? All plugs are plugged into the ignition module?

Can the no start have any thing to do with the valves? As I understand the valve are none adjustable for that year engine. 97 MC 3.1L

Just cuz you have spark does not mean all the plugs are in the module. The ECM needs to see and ignition pulse before it will fire the injectors. Also is the Cam and both Crank sensors plugged in and functional?
