Question : Engine Mount Replacement?

I need to replace the lower engine mount on a 95 Cutlass Supreme with a 3100. Do I need to remove the subframe? I was thinking, maybe I can raise the engine a couple of inches by using a jack and a block of wood.

Your on the right track just un bolt it from the sub frame. Then lift the engine its a pain but it can be done.

I can replace the mount without removing the subframe? Any step by step instructions?

You should be able to see it just past your passenger side wheel. IIRC, it is not behind any of the fenderwell covers. Jack up the car, take off the passenger wheel, support the engine, unbolt the mount, take out the mount and replace with new. It should be that easy.
