My 84 Pontiac FBody w/ 2.8L has 180k mi. It's not abused or anything, just a daily driver - mostly hwy driving. It consistently delivers 25mpg on a weekly basis. (sometimes 27 on purely hwy) I've gone ahead and replaced the intake manifold gaskets as a 'preemptive' measure. (FWIW the rear water jack had some corrosion and was probably on it's way to leaking)
I'd like to get the car/motor to last 200k or maybe 220k.
What, if anything else, should I keep an eye on or consider servicing?
Thanks!
