Question : Engine stand bolts?

Dumb question:

I recently acquired a 3400 long block to rebuild. I bought a new engine stand, and natch, I need bolts to mount the engine to the stand. What size bolts do I use?

I would tell you what bolts im using but their not even the right ones lol I just went to the local hardware store and started buying bolts until I found some that fit.

11mmx1.5 if my memory serves me correctly. Same as head bolts. I can only find them at Lowe's, or Ace for regular consumer stores. Most cities have a hardware-specific store (Broward Bolt here, Allied Fastner in my old town), and should have many available in varying lenghts/strengths.

I stand corrected. Is it the accy mount bolts that match? I know I have a big bucket of misc 660 bolts and I was able to use some on the stand (none are bell housing bolts).

I can't remember now what I bought, but also bought a nut for the through hole on the block (non-threaded hole).
