  • 1995 L82 Fuel Rail Feed Pipe

I'm almost done putting my engine back together. One of the last things left before the upper intake can go back on are the supply and return lines for the fuel rails.

I have both of them hooked up to the fuel rails and tightened. However the metal pipes themselves (the ones going into the rails) are still loose. I can wiggle them around by hand with almost no effort. They can't come out or anything, but I fail to see how the fuel in the rail will be sealed in.

Are there supposed to be rubber O-rings on those pipes? There currently aren't any, and I can't spot any mention of them in the factory service manual.

This is probably the last setback before the engine is finally running again.

there should be an O ring on the main feed line, on the return line the O ring is inside the bottom of the FPR.

I can move both of mine around a little...
