I am Rebuilding the 2.8 v6 engine in an 86 chevy s-10 4x4 extended cab pickup
this is an iron head engine not aluminum. it's fuel injected and manual trans
picked it up for 200$ Question is does this engine have those goofy head bolts
that you have to replace or are they standard torque em down and forget em
that you can reuse? Asking this because one of the auto parts folks
said some of the 2.8 engines have what he calls stretch bolts that you have to replace if you pull the head.
I am used to old 8cyl and motorcycle engines. torque em down in sequence and forget it.
