  • 1994 3.1L cavalier keeps dying, need help please

my car dies after driving it for about a half out, it will restart right away but only stay running in neutral or park, but i have to wait for about 15 minutes before i can actually drive anywhere again. Also it idles rough and the oil pressure goes a little below the first line and stays there after it warms up. What could possibly be the problem?

Hmm, does it idle fine with good oil pressure in neutral/park or is that also bad?

It could be the TCC solenoid is bad so the converter is not unlocking when you come to a stop.. Unplugging the wire connector will get you going but loose some mpg.
