Car has wicked high idle right now... throws 21+22.. I extended the TPS and IAC wires maybe they came undone somehow and are shorting out? Car idles real high and when i jiggle the wires the idle starts bouncing around. Were talkin around 3000 rpms. I havnt really driven the car much since i made it a 3.1/3400 hybrid but i remember it idling real nice when it first started so i know something happend, maybe they just heated up and took a crap from being near the crossover pipe and turbo. Whats the best way to check the wires with a multimeter? Anyway the sensor itself couldve shorted out? thanks

with key on engine off, probe the tps at the connector. stick a paper clip (small) in each side (into that rubbery shit). i do that rather than jam the multimeter lead in there (cuz its fat). at closed throttle you should be reading .8 to 1 volt. (meter set to 20v scale). slowly open the throttle and watch the meter, the voltage should smoothly rise to almost 5 volts... you might only see 4.6 volts or something... but thats ok.
i really think you need to look at the wire splice point though... and solder them again... clean your IAC, confirm tps signals are good.

Well in the middle of all this, i found my mystery oil leak, it was coming from from Pump shaft O-ring and dripping between the bellhousing appearing as a rear main leak...It was weird because looking down at it , you dont see any oil , untill i took the upper intake off, got my finger behind it and BEHOLD 5W30!!!
back on topic, I checked the TPS connector with multimeter and it seem to be getting ground and power. After a little more diagnosing, ill probably end up replacing the connector and the sensor. I hope this takes care of it. I appreciate the help from you guys.
