  • 94 3100 "Extra parts" after re-gasket

Replaced head gaskets and intake gaskets. I bagged and tagged, but not well enough. Can you tell me what these go to? Alternator?

I assume then that the bar attaches to an upper intake bolt. The second bolt from the end is threaded for a nut. Thanks for the help.
Bolts- The power steering hoses need some bracing. Could the bolts go there?
I may run out to Pull-A-Part to get a better look at some corpses.

its been awhile since i worked on an engine that used that mounting system, a little foggy.

but if one of them is threaded with a nut halfway down that goes on the plenum and the bar in the other pic bolts to it.

            Mystery solved

The two bolts attached to the rear of the A/C compressor. The bracket went to the rear of the alternator and second bolt from the passenger end of the plenum- back side. A trip the the junkyard allowed me to figure out the mounting points. I finally fired up the Olds today for the first time in 2 weeks after replacing the head and intake gaskets. So far so good. I'll change the oil/filter tomorrow. Isaac- I'm using the green stuff after getting the Dex flushed out.
Thanks to all who helped me on this..... David

Never seen 2 short bolts like that on the AC on a 3100. But it may mount different on your car. Good luck!
