  • High/Fast Idle

ok i searched around and nobody listed the problems like im having
ok so in the morning when i crank up it goes up to 1500( 1000 is normal) if i let it warm up and drive it it goes back down to 1000 while in drive and reverse but 1500 in park and nuetral... If i crank up when its warm already it will stay at 1500 in all gears it is hard to stop at lights because the wheels are still spinning....wat could be wrong?
Also, i changed the IAC, TPS, and the IAT sensors but it continues to rise to 1500 and i also have bad exhaust leaks

Well 1500 is fine for cold startup and that is normal for a few mins. But it should not happen on warm startup. Check the engine coolant temp sensor in the intake manifold. Remove it, take it inside to room temp for about 1/2 hour and measure with an OHM meter. It needs to read 3400 ohms at 21*C(70*F). If it is off replace it.

Could be a vacuum leak if its happening all the time.

It could still be a Vac leak. Just intermittent. My moms car did it when the PCV hose was cracked. It was reving to 3000RPM though LOL. It only did it the odd time.

One to the inside of the passenger compartment, on to the vacuum canister and one to the EVAP system.

There is a vacuum diagram under the hood of your car.
