I have a 2000 buick century with a 3100. My wife drives in and she started to complain of smelling gas... A few days go by and its now worse and easy to spot. Fuel is leaking right where the fuel pressure regulator mounts to the fuel rail. Still runs fine and its sending no codes...
Question is: Is there just an O-ring in where it mounts to the fuel rail that can be changed? Seems like its just the seal and not the regulator, no fuel comming out the to vac line.
Also the book says to remove the upper intake and the fuel rail to change the regulator, is that necessary or can it be done with the engine intact?
