Alright, well, it worked in case anyone wanted to try.

I however had to remove the UIM to get the oil pump drive out.

But so far, my LIM gaskets are still in there 100%, and my cam is out sitting on the bench.

Now the hard part will be not dropping the new pushords down past the lifter when I install them... should be fun.

I think my dampener is pretty worn (about 1/4" groove up near the top), timing set is also pretty sloppy... I'll go ahead and replace everything I think.

Don't forget to torq the cam gear to the right specs. Not sure what the specs are for 3400 but I know the 3100 is listed on the site here. The 3100 has a different bigger chain is all I know with less teeth.

103 lb ft is what I am getting from domesticcrew.com.

States that's for both the 3100/3400.

          Colin v6ho posted them up...

I'll just torque it on with the impact.

              Haha, I kid.

I only use the impact to remove everything. Once I have half - done the job, and it's time to re-install everything, I put the gun in my box.

So Dave, will that N/A waste of time ever catch up to my boosted car ?

              he he he he.
