need help now if possible

my friend sent me a set of rods to install new pistons on, just fired up the rod heater but for the life of me cant remeber which way the bearing tangs go.
do the go to the outside twards the pan rail or oposite

really hate to go pull the pan off my motor on the stand to find out again lol
