  • 96 GP high idle, hard to drive help!

I am reposting this from w-body.com since I am very lost and mechanic is fairly lost too, so I'm trying to get as much help as I can.

See first post on page 3 for latest updates.

    Thanks.

You mentioned a broken PCV. Maybe just for a test you can plug that vacuum line, drive around and see if it fixes, just to rule that possibility out. Just a thought but if there are no codes, maybe there's a vacuum leak that gets better or worse depending on how the engine moves in the engine bay, like a cracked hose, grommet or maybe the brake booster vacuum hose cracked at a connection or a bend.

I would like to replace the PCV regardless, anyone know where I could get the entire PCV hard hose (one that is actually shaped the way I need it) aside from a junkyard?

When I go to the parts store, I get a foot long piece of straight stuff that doesn't really help me at all.
