  • Revised intake manifold torque specs?

    Hi.I am new here so please forgive if this has been answered befroe but does anyone have the revised torque specs for the 99 3400 vin e.I have just done a valve job and cant find my torque sheet.Also,my head set came with a plastic gasket.Is the fel pro metal gasket better?This is in a minivan so I dont want to do the job again.Thanks for help and dex cool sucks.

      Well metal won't melt/crack like plastic, so go metal!

        Thanks guys.I tried fel pro but they are telling me they only make plastic now.
        i found a place called D&S that says there gasket is a fix all for gm v6 probs.Ever hear of them?Anyway thanks for the torque specs.Guess I should have renewed the alldata subscription.Now to put this sucker together...and dexcool still sux!!

          Don't know why Fel Pro would say that.
          The PermaDry (metal frame) gaskets for
          a 99 3400 Venture/Montana are part #MS98003T, I
          just looked it up on Autozone.com and PartsAmerica.com

            Thanks.On my way to autozone.Guy from advance said he hadnt seen metal intake gaskets for years.Guess I should have considered the source.Will sleep better at night with metal gaskets and dex cool free engine.
