hi all,
i am new here lots of great info. i am currently having trouble with the red rocket(my lumina)it will stumble and stall sometimes. the things i have noticed so far are : what seems like excessive pressure in the gas tank when i open the cap. if i dont tighten the cap all the way it seems to correct the problem unless it is a wet rainy day. then it will stumble. i am not sure of my theory on the pressure in the tank but it seems to me that if there is pressure in the tank the likely culprit would be the fuel filter. to have pressure in the tank makes me believe there is not a blockage on the return side of the fuel system. i think the problem would have to be on the pressure side. i have had a new gas cap suggested but it seems to simple(although it would be nice to be wrong here.) someone else suggested a blockage on the return side of the fuel system hence my theory. and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
