hey, I have the opertunity to get one of these with a bad engine real REAL cheap, still, I have to replace the engine, any thoughts? is it worth the work? or should I pull the heads and the oil pan to see if it's in real bad shape...

The 3300 is a 90* V6, so I don't know how much help you will get here. But as with any situation like yours, If you're going to pull the engine anyways, you might as well pull it apart and see if you can fix what's wrong or possibly rebuild it.

that's what I was thinkin' about doing, but not too many people offer information about this perticular motor...

any clues as to what all is swapable between the other 90 degree motors?

Not really, I haven't done any hardcore looking into them, about all I do know is that the 3300 is the little sister to the 3800.
